Unanswered	30 to 45	6 to 10	My child is at H.B. for the first year and mye experience has not been fully tested. However, I believe more contact between the school and parents, especially the fifth graders, would alleviate the feeling of not knowing exactly what the new procedures are.

North East	30 to 45	Over 10	My son happens to have 2 GREAT teachers but 5th graders do not belong with 8th graders... And when 8th grade girls have a fist fight they need to be suspended just like any 8th grade boy would have been.... Who cares who their parents are.

North East	30 to 45	Over 10	The middle school years have proven to be the worst of the school years. We need new faces and fresh blood. The teachers at the middle school do not respect the kids like the high school teachers do. Some of them should really be ashamed of the way they talk to and treat students. Even the principal seems more interested in office policy than the students. At the graduation ceremonies - he can not pronounce some the the kids' last names - and they've been in his school for 4 years!! Why is he working with kids he has no interesting in getting to know?

South East	30 to 45	6 to 10	Need a strong leader there for the children to look up to. Have not found that special person yet.
South East	30 to 45	Over 10	Easy, unchallenging, give out A's too often. Terrible gifted and talented. Terrible Spanish program. No one really cares about challenging the best students, except for the few good teachers. No discipline. Lots of bullying going on and not being handled. Mr. Burke doesn't care enough. All families should have access to MIss McKinney in guidance, not just the end of the alphabet. The librarian is the best! Mr. Kim and Joe Bellino...the last hope.

South East	46 to 60	6 to 10	Parents are "shut out" from the time that their children enter middle school in Verona. They are not kept informed of what they're child is doing. Clubs are cancelled without informing the parents. Consequently, you have lots of 10 and 11 year olds wandering around the grounds and outside the school without supervision because their parents weren't informed that they should be picked up. Teachers complain that parents send them too many e-mails. The report cards include absolutely nothing in the way of evaluations. Just a grade. That's all the child gets. With no explanation or breakdown within each subject.

South West	30 to 45	Over 10	I do not think that the fighting is dealt with harshly enough. The same children are fighting all the time... there should be ZERO tolerence for hurting someone. ZERO....and when you have done it two and three and four times or more....I think it is time to be home schooled by your parents...maybe then the parents will take a serious approach to their children causing physcial damage to someone else's child.
